    Hi George,

Is it possible to have a sidebar on pages (as well as posts)?  I can't seem to find an option for this.  Please let me know!  Thank you for your help.

    Hi,

When you create or edit the page please scroll down until the "Page Settings" section and for "Page style" please select Right sidebar or Left sidebar.

    Hope this helps.

    Best regards,

    George

Perfect.  I missed that.  I have another question, hopefully it's ok to just put it here rather than  opening another ticket.  I'd like to replace the social media icon for VK with the icon for Vine.  I looked at font awesome (the link was in the documentation) and they do have it.  I am capable of replacing things in a file, if I'm told where to go and what to replace with what.  Is this something I could do?  Kate has her heart set on that darned Vine icon.  :)

    Hi,

Yes, you can replace VK code in the theme file but, I recommend you to do that only if you have some knowledge of HTML code.

If you want to change this in the header, please open header.php file and replace VK icon on the line 179

If you want to change this in the footer, please open footer.php file and replace VK icon on the line 64

    Hope this helps.

    Best regards,

    George

Does it make a difference that Vine seems to have been added in a newer version of Font Awesome?  I see it on their site, I don't see it on the CSS file included with Rose (in the file folder "parts").

    Hi,

Rose theme have included version 3 of  Font Awesome, the "Vine" icon was included only for version 4 or newer.

In the next updates of the theme I will update the Font Awesome code but for now I can't help you to add Vine icon to your website by using Font Awesome code.

    Best regards,

    George

    Hi George,

Do we have any idea when that might be?  I tried really hard to update the code myself.  I almost had it...except that I got little boxes instead of actual icons.  I thought I had updated everything (the new Font Awesome version in "parts", where it was calling for the icons in the header, and in the theme funtions file, where it was calling for the older style sheet), but I'm sure I'm missing one tiny piece of code that is calling for the older version of Font Awesome rather than the newer (or I missed something in the font titles....the newer version has an "f" in front of the font name, .  It's really frustrating.  The girl I'm working on this for really, really has her heart set on having that Vine icon.  No way you could point me towards whatever it is I'm missing?  :)
