I'm having a very hard time figuring out how to set up the homepage slider.  I simply want it to pull from the most recent posts.  All I've managed to get so far is a big, empty slider.  I've watched the video that comes with the documentation repeatedly, but am getting nothing from it.  HELP!  I'm sure I'm missing something simple, but cannot figure out what it is.

By the way, the related url is not active with the theme.  We just purchased it this morning and have not activated it, except for me to try and figure out the slider.

    Hi,

Please go to Revolution Slider -> click on the Settings button for the desired slider (see attached screenshot setting-button.png) Now, please follow instruction from the slider-settings.png picture.

You cannot activate Revolution Slider because this plugin comes bundled with the theme. Don't worry about slider updates, this will be updated with the theme.

    Hope this helps.

    Best regards,

    George

Thanks so much for your response!  I've sort of got it figured out, although the styling is kicking my butt a bit.  Would it be possible to get a screenshot of the styling you're using for the text (post name, etc).  I love the font and the size is perfect.  I can't seem to get it quite right on my own.  :)  Also, how do you add the "read more" button?  I'm sure it's something simple that is right in front of me, but so far I haven't found it.   And should images be a certain size in order for them to look right?  Again, thanks for your help!

    Hi,

When install the Rose theme, the font text (color, size, style) is the same like the theme demo, it is not the same for you?

If you want insert "read more" tag please click on the "Insert read more tag" button where you want to stop the summary text (see attached screenshot).

    Hope this helps.

    Best regards,

    George

    Hi George,

I figured it out.  I hadn't imported the slides.  :)  I'm slowly getting this!
